Research and Clinical Trials

Dr. Kris Radcliff is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic and neurological spine surgeon and Professor at Thomas Jefferson University. Alongside thousands of surgeries, he has spent his career studying which spine treatments work best and for whom. He has authored more than 180 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and much of that research focuses on the operations he performs every week, including artificial disc replacement and alternatives to fusion.

For patients, this matters because the recommendations you receive are based on evidence, including long-term results that Dr. Radcliff has helped measure himself.
